Think before you submit. Try to only submit the deviations that you think are your strongest works.
Every member is allowed to submit two deviations a month. This limit applies even if both the deviations submitted are declined [which is something we unfortunately cannot control]. Also, the deviations you submit must be at least two days old in your gallery. For a more in depth explanation of our two day rule, please see the "WHY?" section found below.
Please submit to the correct folders. If you submit to the wrong folder your submission will be declined. For all information on how to submit artwork to a group, please visit one of these tutorials: saniakob.deviantart.com/art/Gr… or nessarie.deviantart.com/art/Ho… .
Submissions will be quality checked to ensure artwork that best represents the artist is submitted to the correct folders.
The artwork is polished and seems finished. No sketches or Works In Progress [WIPs].
Sharp, thought out photographs. No photographs with low resolution, or images that are grainy, dark, or generally unclear will be accepted.
We will not reject work based on our own personal preference. We reject/accept work on a technical basis, as we realize that artwork is subjective and everyone's skill level is different.
We do not accept memes, deviations that use bases, deviations with more than one thumbnail of the artist's work, Very Demotivational posters (things such as this: verydemotivational.memebase.co…, WIPs (Works In Progress), screen caps, adoptables (things such as this: mystykness.deviantart.com/art/…, journals of any sort, anything that inspires hate against religions, races, genders, sexualities, etc., anything overly explicit, or a deviation lacking a mature tag that is in need of one.
To make sure we are showing unknown artists' works, deviations will only be approved if the artwork has less than an average of 50 views per day, and a maximum of 5000 views total.
We do not accept artworks that have been awarded a Daily Deviation. For more information on Daily Deviations, see here: help.deviantart.com/61/
Photomanipulations, or any image that uses stock, must have the stock used linked in their comments. This includes both free and purchased images. Submissions that do not have properly linked stock will be declined. If you used your own stock, please state such in your artist's comments. Please be prepared to provide further proof it is your own stock if requested. UAC does not accept work created using images culled from Google Image searches, or through sites like Photobucket because the images seen there are often copyrighted and would therefore infringe DA's rules on art theft. If your stock comes from a magazine, please provide the name of the magazine, (and if possible) issue and year. This applies to any preview pictures to your literature as well.
